Fuck y'all, here's a generalization
So I've got this brush, and its probably too big... But I'll paint my question anyway:

Why are bipolar women always promiscuous, lying cuntbags?

My whole life I've watched two of my cousins go through hundreds of boyfriends... And cheat on every one that lasted more than a few weeks. In highschool I watched my friend do the same thing. Obviously I shouldn't have dated someone who's bipolar... But *hey, she's young and attractive, and I couldn't possibly be hurt by anything in my own head* Rolleyes

I've never cheated or been cheated on... In retrospect it was like getting in a car with someone who is determined to drive into a wall and I'm just sitting there twiddling my thumbs.

What an idiot. Dodgy

RE: Fuck y'all, here's a generalization
Sounds like the ones you've had experience with aren't too concerned about managing their medication properly. Which is understandable. Bipolar disorder is so hard to keep in check, and the illness itself is really nasty. Not to mention people with bipolar disorder can become addicted to their manic states, and they can find the depressive lows worth it to avoid medication.

Because your mood swings almost without any outside provocation, you realize that you can't trust your own emotions, or your reaction to how the people around you act towards you. If someone is doing something that makes you happy/angry, you don't know if it's their actions, or your unstable mood. I'm sure you can imagine how this could negatively affect relationships, which then gives you trouble dealing with future relationships, and it's a spiral from there. Relationship issues start to compound, and you're left floundering.

I have a very close family member with bipolar disorder who self medicates. It's not pretty Sad

It is a pretty broad brush you're painting with, especially with the small anecdotal sample size you've dealt with. Don't get me wrong, I can see how you came to your conclusion, and I can sympathize with you. It wasn't fair you were treated badly, but it's not all their fault, you know?

Hug

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta

And none of them have ever wanted to talk about their troubles... Its like "I'm manic, don't fuck with my high" or "I'm depressed, I'm too busy hating myself to talk about it."

And then there's the "guys only want to fuck me... They don't care about me" bullshit...

"No... All YOU want to do is fuck ME... Cause you sure aren't giving me much else to work with here. You wont talk about yourself because you're afraid of self reflection."

Even the cousin I work with. She cheated on her boyfriend with my coworker... Now his life and job are all fucked up and its affecting my work because we're the only two guys who are fixing fucked up shipments for the main ups freight terminal in Canada. She dumps her boyfriend and kicks him out of the house after he forgives her, just so she can move in this other new guy. Meanwhile she's still randomly disappearing with my coworker for an hour or so every couple days.

And this is only the most recent shit...

This nails it, pretty much!

Mothering people is what I do best, but I will "attempt" to not go overboard here....Rolleyes

It sure sounds like you got caught up in the nasty bp web. Unsure I hope you can learn to detach, (yes I know it's hard to do), from the toxic ones, and not let it get you down. I've seen bp destroy families, marriages, jobs, and lives. Nothing changes for them, unless they take full responsibility, and properly take care of themselves....rather than self-medicate. It can and does happen!

I know a family whose son is bp, and even though their love for him is unconditional, they had to, for safety reasons, make him move out.

By the way, you were not an idiot for dating someone with bp. You took a chance, and it didn't work out - don't be so hard on yourself!! You live and you learn. Yes

A 52 year old man was taken by a saltwater crocodile in front of his family here in Australia a few days ago.

I hope this helps.

I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.
