Weird. Last church I was in was for a wedding at St. Mary's in Annapolis. Don't remember seeing any other flag than a purple one which I think might be for Lent?

I do remember thinking with all the money they put into this place couldn't they have padded the seats? And there ain't no way I'm kneeling on that piece of bare wood.

I'm wondering whether they fly the American flag in other countries?

I've seen flags in the few churches I've attended (albeit many years ago). They were Episcopalian. It was part of the internal landscape I would stare at when I turned off my ears.

Like ever.

I have. The majority of my Brownie and Girl Scout meetings were held in churches - mostly a presby one - they usually had both our state flag and the US flag at the entrance or somewhere in the lobby. It wasn't just for scout programs - churches are used for voting, at least in my state. Shy
