My daughter tested out as an INFP. I was surprised. She seems really extroverted to me. I could definitely see her as an actress. She's quite the little drama queen already. She's crazy about music.

For instance, Richard Dawkins (INTP) does not strike me as an introvert.

Dawkins strikes me as very much an introvert.

A huge number of actors and actresses (and in my field, all the best presenters that I know) are introverts.

I wonder if you have the right definition of introvert/extrovert?

It's not shy/confident ... it's about how one re-energises one's metaphorical batteries ... by being alone or by being with others.

RE: Fun with personality test
I've taken this before and always end up INTJ but this one listed me as ISTJ which was odd. INTJ is a better fit.

RE: Fun with personality test
Your personality type: “The Executive” (ESTJ-A)
Strength of individual traits:
  • Extraverted: 59%
  • Observant: 57%
  • Thinking: 70%
  • Judging: 59%
  • Assertive: 63%
Role: Sentinel
Strategy: People Mastery*

*People Masters seek social contact and tend to have very good communication skills, feeling at ease in social events or in situations where they need to rely on or direct other people. These types are confident in their abilities and do not hesitate to express their opinions. Playing an active role in the society and knowing what makes other people tick mean a lot for People Masters; however, they are not too concerned about what other people think about them.

But isn't it extrovert instead of extravert?

The Oxford English Dictionary says:
The original spelling ‘Extravert’ is now rare in general use but is found in technical use in psychology.

RE: Fun with personality test
YOUR PERSONALITY TYPE IS:
COMMANDER (ENTJ-A)
I will find a way... Or make one.

58% extroverted, 42% introverted
63% intuitive, 37% observant
69% thinking, 31% feeling
59% judging, 41% prospecting
98% assertive, 2% turbulent

ENTJ PERSONALITY (“THE COMMANDER”)

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
Steve Jobs

ENTJs are natural-born leaders. People with this personality type embody the gifts of charisma and confidence, and project authority in a way that draws crowds together behind a common goal. But unlike their Feeling (F) counterpart, ENTJs are characterized by an often ruthless level of rationality, using their drive, determination and sharp minds to achieve whatever end they've set for themselves. Perhaps it is best that they make up only three percent of the population, lest they overwhelm the more timid and sensitive personality types that make up much of the rest of the world – but we have ENTJs to thank for many of the businesses and institutions we take for granted every day.
