You're kidding, right? Most of life reproduces asexually.

C'mon now...

You're response is ambiguous.

Of course I'm being sarcastic.

The word you're looking for is 'ironic', not sarcastic.

Now, now, no one likes a pedant... Especially one that is wrong:

sar·casm [sahr-kaz-uh m] noun
1. harsh or bitter derision or irony.
2. a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark: a review full of sarcasms.

irony [ahy-ruh-nee, ahy-er-]

i·ro·ny noun, plural -nies

1. the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, “How nice!” when I said I had to work all weekend.

Sarcasm is a harsh form of irony, which his statement might qualify as, particularly if you are a YEC ;-)

Better without God, and happier too.

But it literally makes no sense.

Since I believe in evolution and all.

huh? ya lost me there. I didn't think you were a YEC (or Chas), I was saying it might be harsh from the point of view of a YEC. Someone who isn't will just find it funny...

His statement was ironic, there was no harshness to make it sarcasm.

RE: Fundies say the darndest things
FB friend posted John Piper's status update for today:
"When I face Christ in the last day I'd rather be chastened as too simple than too skeptical. Ready to believe, not resistant."

i.e. "Stupidity is a virtue."
