Fuuuuuuck!
So, I don't buy a whole lot of clothes to speak of. Usually I'm all about replacing whatever gets worn out.

Over Christmas I did splurge and bought myself a cashmere sweater. It was gorgeous, super soft, lovely -- fit perfectly. Casual enough to go with jeans, pretty enough for a skirt. Very classic versatile peice. It's not even dry clean only....it's a delicate wash/hand wash; dry flat kind of thing....

I wore it once.

Today, suffering from the fuzzy effects of cold medicine I'm doing the laundry thing.

Put a load of regular clothes in....

Tossed everything into the dryer without much thought.

Then I began pulling out the clothes and folding them....

Out comes this tiny sweater. I look at it, my mind in disbelief. What the hell is this? Then it slowly sinks in....

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

I offer the use of fire as a solution to this problem.

After all, if you immolate it, the problem wont exist any more.

Seriously dude? Do you think I'm new to this laundry thing Dodgy

Of course I tried it.

It shrank about 4x (the previous size) I managed to get it back to 2x.

Had it not been such a perfect fit before, it may have worked. It would fit my younger son, who weighes about a hundred pounds soaking wet...

But I've got boobs.

It happens. Once cooked a frozen pizza cut it, walked back to my room to eat it, tripped on the carpet, DOH!

Right. Once cashmere has gone into the dryer you basically have a LOVELY, expensive sweater for a 2 yr old.

its a crying shame.

That's why you're supposed to eat it while standing over the sink! Tongue

RE: Fuuuuuuck!
Did you try it on anyway? Maybe it's like a T.A.R.D.I.S. sweater, bigger on the inside XD
Then you could time travel back to before you put it in the wash. That would be pretty sweet.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?
