Whenever Joffrey does get whacked, I want it to be a slow and painful process.

Having read the book, I'm not allowed to answer.

Of course, certain details in the Red Wedding were a little different, so who knows how they'll deal with the little fucker. Censored

"The lanista was an owner-trainer of a troop of gladiators. He traded in slave gladiators, and rented those he owned out to a producer (editor) who was organizing games. The profession was often remunerative, but socially the lanista was on a par with a pimp (leno) as a "vendor of human flesh."[15]"

I wonder if whoever originally wrote GoT did that metaphorically?
Not the first time I've come across something within GoT while doing some history reading and lol'd. Locations I think was the last one. A location within GoT was a real location and it made me lol.

Also fuck you all, it's fine under Movies.

Seeing how it's Lannister, not Lanista, there is likely no connection. Drinking Beverage

No, it's not.

RE: Game of Thrones season premiere.
Who else thinks the actress who played Catelyn (Michelle Fairley) deserves an Emmy for that performance? I'm not a big Rob/Catelyn story fan, but man oh man, her acting for the last 5 minutes of that episode had me on the edge of my seat and crying all at once. Her desperate pleading and death threat of the innocent girl, her agonized wail when Rob died, followed by how her face just went...blank. It was like she died before they killed her. Chilling performance.

I'll second that - she even spoke like she had an arrow thru her lung (or at least how one might guess a person would sound with such an injury). Great and terrible scene!
