Game programming team/group
Hello,
I was bored recently and decided to learn a new skill. I did some vb.net programming before (basic stuff ) and wanted to learn c#. The problem is that in most books the examples are horribly boreing and useless, which makes learning the language much less fun. I decided a better approach would be to first learn a few basics ( did a crashcourse ) and then to improve my c# by practice. The best way to practice would be an interesting project , e.g making a simple 2D game. I decided to use the XNA 4.0 framework (it is outdated , but its still great ).

Would anyone be interested to work ( and at the same time learn ) on making a simple 2d game together ? Let me know what you think and if you are interested Smile

Sure. I already know c# but I ain't made a game before so XNA would be new to me. What do you have in mind? Should clearly be religion-based. Where's Jesus? Big Grin

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

I am getting a Las Vegas website built up (or will be shortly) and could use a casino game or 10, for people to play free.

Slot machines, craps, and roulette would all be pretty easy. Blackjack too. Poker a bit harder. You're talking single player right? Multiplayer like Zynga does is much more involved.

I have a JS based black jack game you can use if you credit webstudiodelta...it does the whole shebang, insurance, double down, splits...

I'd link it but my site is down right now and I'm too busy to bring it back up ATM. but let me know if you are interested.
