For a quirky game I know of but don't know if it's fun or just strange on the GBA- Urban Yeti

Ahh, Golden Sun.

Solid game right there.

The people closely associated with the namesake of female canines are suffering from a nondescript form of lunacy.

I've actually been playing Harvest Moon: A New Beginning on my 3DS at work for the last few weeks.

There were actually quite a few games in that series for handhelds.

GBA
Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town

DS
Harvest Moon DS
Harvest Moon DS: Island of Happiness
Harvest Moon DS: Sunshine Islands
Harvest Moon DS: Grand Bazaar
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns

3DS
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns 3D
Harvest Moon: A New Beginning

That being said, the highest rated one is Friends of Mineral Town on the GBA, which has an 81% aggregate rating from Metacritic. Island of Happiness brings up the rear with an average 65% on Metacritic, and most of the rest fall within the very respectable 70's.

Fuck! I totally forgot Advanced Wars! It's right up there with FF:Tactics and Fire Emblem if you enjoy turn-based strategy.

Also, did you know they made a turn-based-strategy-RPG sequel to Zone of the Enders for the GBA? Yep. I owned it, it was awesome.
