Gene Expression and the Spanish Royal Family
This is a little bit history , a little bit science (no rock n' roll though). It overlaps. Some of you history buffs might be aware of the Hapsburg jaw from the Spanish royal family. If not, brace yourself, here it is folks.
![]() and ![]() lets see one more................just for fun. ![]() This last guy was Charles II and he was the last Hapsburg king, a total imbecile who couldn't reproduce anymore. Also, artists at this time did a kind of photoshop. They painted portraits to make royalty look better than they did in real life. I just can't imagine what these people actually looked like. Ugh. Anyway here's a science article about gene expression and the Hapsburgs with a ancestry map of the family showing several family interlooping marriages. While reading this I couldn't help but think of Noah and the six others in the ark, interbreeding and producing perhaps something akin to the Hapsburg chin. http://www.museumsecrets.tv/cmsImages/KHM_portrait2.jpg Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump: He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere, Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where; Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind, Stigmatical in making, worse in mind. |

I thought about Adam and Eve when I first learned about it.
I mean, Eve had Adams genes considering she was genetically engineered from his ribs. And then their babies breed with each other. Ick. "If there's a single thing that life teaches us, it's that wishing doesn't make it so." - Lev Grossman |

The Egyptian royal family interbred too and ended up with odd looking people who had some major physical problems. If Adam and Eve's kids intermarried and their children intermarried no telling what we would look like. We would certainly be mentally deficient. It just wouldn't have worked. The scary thing is they knew he was impotent. That means someone tried. That ugly bastid would need two paper bags over his head.
