RE: Generic conspiracy theory humor
I knew a guy once who thought that the great lakes were actually caused by a meteor impact caused by aliens 10,000 years ago, not by glaciers. His "proof" was the Michigan Basin, a geologic feature where the geologic strata under Michigan is warped like a bowl so that the rocks in the middle of Michigan are younger, and they get progressively older as you move outward. This was caused by the formation of the Appalachians, and there is a related Cincinnati Arch (older rocks in the middle, younger as you move outward), centered underneath Cincinnati, Ohio to the south. There is no physical basin or depression in Michigan, and in fact the elevation is highest in the middle of the state and decreases slowly until you reach the Great Lakes surrounding it, where it drops down steeply. You know, the exact opposite of what you'd see from a meteor impact.

But hey, stupid people will be stupid people. Whatcha gonna do?

E 2 = (mc 2)2 + (pc )2
614C → 714N + e + ̅νe
2 K(s) + 2 H2O(l) → 2 KOH(aq) + H2 (g) + 196 kJ/mol
It works, bitches.
