Go figure. People just don't like communism.
It's no secret considering the world's communist governments often had to enact laws to keep people from leaving instead of keeping people out. I stand in support of our Cuban brothers and sisters in their battle for liberty and justice.

It's really too bad because Communism has a great name going for it.
Also I'd be pro communism if I meant genuine equality in an Amish kind of way but it sure doesn't work that way. Oh if only the Amish were cooler.

Tell me just what do you know about Cuba? I lived through my family's troubles with Cuba. Poverty and starvation caused what happened in Cuba. I would love to hear your take on it. All you know is what is reported in the USA. Funny how we have trade with Communist China,Russia and Vietnam yet we still have no trade with Cuba. Can you see some Hypocrisy? I'm just saying!!! No wonder the people want change. I can see our Governments hands in their lives and lack of freedom. Thank our melding CIA for the trouble we have everywhere. They have been wrong on so many things it is a joke. Go Figure. I think it's about time we got over the bay of pigs. They will always be socialist.

I know that most aren't happy with their way of life. And much has nothing to do with the US. The US isn't controlling their right to own a computer. Or denying them Twitter and Facebook accounts. People can be poverty stricken and still be happy if they have a few basic rights. Cubans have so little control over their own lives and hopefully soon they will do something about it.

Like I thought you know nothing about my people only what the American news puts before your eyes. I think next time read about my people before you post.

We'll see who's right when your people overthrow their government. I think you're just butthurt that your ideal government isn't as popular as you hoped it was.

RE: Go figure. People just don't like communism.
I just read a whole ton about Cuba.
Gotta say, I'm not sure what the argument or hostility is about here. America has had hostility with Cuba... Cuba has had hostility with it's leaders....
What's the issue?

RE: Go figure. People just don't like communism.
You also said nothing about free trade with other Communist nations. Funny how you look to find what is bad about that nation. They have FREE health care unlike our totally screwed up system. Starvation is unheard of in Cuba. Homelessness is also unheard of too. Yet they find no internet. Poor babies.

When our leaders openly try to kill Castro with the CIA. As for the people who don't like it there I understand it. I'm here now. My father and aunt came from there in the 30's We had relatives still in Cuba who wanted out in the rise of Communism with Castro. They made out out in 63. Yes things are not a utopia there. But one can also say their is no utopia here either. I would love to go to Cuba. I have family that goes and comes back all the time. If Cuba was treated fairly and equitably with the USA, it would be a much better relationship.

Well the article I ran across was about Cuba. Not about other countries. Everyone in the US has access to health care. And starvation and homelessness isn't exactly a huge issue in the US. Sure, some people are homeless but what, like .01% of the population? And hungry people get food stamps. I'm a little confused by you though. Are you justifying nationwide censorship based on the fact that people don't starve to death in Cuba? Why does the government feel like it needs to outlaw this?

Hint- It has to do with power and oppression.
