Your correspondent says of the purported existence of their god, "I have faith and I know for a fact that it's true".

The obvious rebuttal is that "faith" does not equal evidence. In fact, faith is defined as belief without evidence (as I recall someone else here has said).

And saying "I know for a fact" that something's true is a classic non sequitur. Simply claiming that you "know" something doesn't make it true of course. I know the FSM exists, but it doesn't make it true.

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.
