Yes, Adam and Eve chose to live in this world where all kind of bad things can happen (even naturally) to them and their posterity. So, he(Adam) and his posterity can PROGRESS by overcoming all those bad things(including natural things).
What would the scientist do if God didn't place him in the world where he can become a scientist? and most important thing that every achievement of the scientist is HIS OWN!

So Jonas Salk who discovered and developed the first polio vaccine has to give credit to "God" for his achievement!

Fuck You!

Nope, not any of these things you wrote are true, or happened.

It's all made up. You are wrong. Therefor you've just wasted your time in writing it. Try again.

How much more progress would mankind have made in other areas if so much time and research didn't have to be spent on dealing with diseases and disabilities - you know, those things that you believe your god allows and could get rid of, but doesn't because he wants us to... progress. Here you have anidominus and alla both attempting to explain gods actions, which further shows how this concept is whatever you want it to be within your own individual mind. Nothing more than that.

“Truth does not demand belief. Scientists do not join hands every Sunday, singing, yes, gravity is real! I will have faith! I will be strong! I believe in my heart that what goes up, up, up, must come down, down, down. Amen! If they did, we would think they were pretty insecure about it.”

More proof that god, if he did exist, just doesn't give a shit.

Ditto. Stepping into their Never-Never Land where their own scriptures say they cannot know the mind of God somehow these two are convinced that they have special knowledge and insight into their made up being.

..a God who could make good children as easily a bad, yet preferred to make bad ones; who could have made every one of them happy, yet never made a single happy one; who made them prize their bitter life, yet stingily cut it short; who gave his angels eternal happiness unearned, yet required his other children to earn it; who gave is angels painless lives, yet cursed his other children with biting miseries and maladies of mind and body; who mouths justice, and invented hell--mouths mercy, and invented hell--mouths Golden Rules and foregiveness multiplied by seventy times seven, and invented hell; who mouths morals to other people, and has none himself; who frowns upon crimes, yet commits them all; who created man without invitation, then tries to shuffle the responsibility for man's acts upon man, instead of honorably placing it where it belongs, upon himself; and finally, with altogether divine obtuseness, invites his poor abused slave to worship him!

It's so easy to justify hardship when you can wrap everything up in a neat little "mankind and free will creates his own evil" package and call it apologized.

Apologetics never examine a real life "evil" at it's surface. It can't.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

The level of double-think is frightening, as just about anything can be twisted to reinforce their god. I'm paraphrasing this from Seth Andrews, but it goes something like...

A young inner-city kid gets caught in the crossfire of a gang shootout, you have 3 likely scenarios.

Scenario 1: The kid is untouched. God protected the boy from certain harm, nothing so much as grazed him; and god is good.

Scenario 2: The kid gets hit, but is only paralyzed instead of killed. God deflected the bullet, it could have been a fatal shot; and god is good.

Scenario 3: The kid is hit and killed outright. The boy is in heaven with Jesus, god just needed another angel; and god is good.

When your answer is the same no matter the circumstance, you need to get yourself a new answer; because it's clearly wrong.

It was my response to your made up stuff that God created this boy.
According to Genesis God created physical bodies only for 2 people - Adam and Eve. The rest(physical bodies of others) is the creation of this world which was Adam's choice.
