No! Oh man.

Ohhh atheist professor is an atheist because his mom died and he's angry at god. He must turn into a Christian in the end.

Also, how does cancer girl not have any friends!? Even if my boyfriend and I just broke up, there'd be people to support me through that! COME ON.

What really gets me is she seems like a very likable character judging from her bumper stickers. She's an animal lover, believes in evolution, and is a humanist. She basically advocates for the greater good! But no! Because she doesn't believe, it doesn't matter how many good deeds she does, she's still gonna get punished with cancer and go to hell.

Well, no, she won't go to hell now because the Newsboys saved her. Facepalm

Ugh...

I *might* watch it. I bought a bottle of wine and some popcorn.

We'll see how drunk I can get.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

RE: God's Not Dead?
I especially love the part where the successful asshole (who dumped his girlfriend for having cancer) is visiting with his mom/grandma who has dementia and he's just like, "What kind of god would do this? I am the meanest person I know and I'm an absolute success and you're just sitting here not recognizing you're own family." The grandma sits for a moment then says, "Sometimes the devil will grant you everything you ever wanted just so you won't believe he exists."

What crock of shit is that? If you're Christian and successful, God has obviously blessed you. But if you're an atheist and successful, that's the devil's doing. These people just have an answer for everything apparently. Blink

Oh wow that explains sooooo much. I've heard people using that excuse.
Thanks!

RE: God's Not Dead?
But who says "I'm the meanest person I know" anyway?!

Plus I love how grandma with dementia had enough clarity to give that guy a nice little sermon. IT'S THE HOLY GHOST oooOOOOOOOOOOooooooo

Atheism is the only way to truly be free from sin.

Well, I can't watch it tonight. Maybe tomorrow...that is if the mood hasn't passed.

Take a drink after...

Every mention of God.

Every evil atheist plot contrivance.

Every logical fallacy.

Every act of incredulity.

Every appeal to emotion.

Every bit of blind racism.

You'll be dead of either acute liver failure or alcohol poisoning before the halfway point. Undecided
