I have more rational discussions with my 9 month old son.

“Science is simply common sense at its best, that is, rigidly accurate in observation, and merciless to fallacy in logic.”

RE: God the absolute truth (part 2)
It's an interesting topic, in a way. Its the same concept that Euthyphro's Dillema was constructed from, by Plato
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euthyphro
If there exists a standard of "absolute truth", then THAT standard exists *outside* the god. (Plato did it in terms of morality).
It there IS a standard OUTSIDE the god, against which the god is necessarily compared,
that god can't be the creator of the structure of Reality.
So, thanks Janus for reminding there cannot be a god which is "absolute truth".
Have a great weekend.

I saw a few question marks in his post, but they seemed to be tacked on to rambling jibber jabber. Only legitimate question I saw was "Do I make myself clear?"

One question at the time so we can grow with strong roots.

We go back in time 4 billion years, before the existence of life in the universe.

If you analyze the entire universe are you able to understand that will be unicellular life in the universe?

2222222222

We go back in time 3.5 billion years to the birth to the first unicellular being generate in the universe.

If you analyse the entire universe are you able to understand that will be a multicellular organism in the next future?

3333333333
Today astrophysicists analyse the universe and understand that life's goal is to control galaxies and be immortal.

Today you have the privilege to understand that GOD is the absolute truth.

................................................................................

Some will say astrophysicists just show a possible future.

So there are just 2 possible futures: Life is the path to control the universe or Life is the path to disappear.

If life is the path of disappear then why it took 3.5 billion years to do it, It could be easier to disappear minutes after born.

Do I make myself clear?
As mud.

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

I didn't need to look at the video to know where that's from. It is one of my favorite movies.
