You have to learn what evolution is if you'd like to have intelligent discussions.

Individual humans make wise and unwise choices, that is not evolution and will have minimal effect on the species as a whole (provided it isn't related to weapons of mass destruction) and no, that isn't the goal of evolution either.
Chas (to whom I referred to as my compatriot) and I can describe things with goals. We have tried to make it clear to you that evolution does not have goals.
There are steps in evolution but again they are not how you think of them. There is no design or ultimate goal.

One more time my friend KidCharlemagne1962

There are two planets near a supernova,
Planet A has a civilization able to control the supernova; Planet B has a civilization that will die.
Does planet A has a minimal or a total effect on the species as a whole?

The thing that is to come in the "evolution chain" (which is wrong to begin because evolution is a tree, not a chain) is: the next thing that is to come. Nothing more nothing less.

Let me help you understand LL. Evolution grows from simple structures to complex structures. The structure that controls the universe is the last step of the chain, and the only one that matters.

Quote:LL
The last thing in the "evolution chain" would be the end of all life.
If there's life, it's evolving.
If there's no evolution, there is no life.

This is the microscopic atheist view. The end of all life could happen one minute after the first signs of life on the universe but that is not truth, it has been growing for 3.5 billion years (or more).

Quote:LL
This question is moot (or, moo, according to Joey Tribbiani) since the end of all life can not be "almighty".

Is not the end of all life, is life controlling the universe.

Quote:LL
Acceptable to who?
What's acceptable and what actually is are two separate things.

If you think that:
Death is the only future of the universe.
just say it.

Then look that any other being on the universe has a different opinion.

Janus believes that life began somewhere (thus is the Alpha) and through evolution, will reach the Omega (which he seems to believe humans are said evolutionary end). This Omega state of life will control the universe. Or it will not.... Therefore! God is Omega, why because it says so in the bible (Re: I am the Alpha). How does he know this? Evolution works to the end of creating an Omega life-from. How can he assume that? Alpha - Omega quote.

Good job FT, even if you believe in evolution you will get to the same conclusion the theists have.

RE: God the absolute truth
Ok I'm going to try this one more time.

Janus, evolution is, by your logic required to get to "god". But by it's very nature evolution can only take place once life has already started.

So your "god" needed to have something start life before he could begin evolving. So what started the life that started "god".

You don't solve anything with all this nonsense of yours all you do is move the question further back in time.

Lol.

Can't speak for the rest of the world, but in the US we have meat pies too.
Just that if you say "pie" with no other qualifiers it's usually considered a dessert pie. So that would mostly be fruit pies, or things like chocolate or lemon or other cream pies.
