Janus, evolution is, by your logic required to get to "god". But by it's very nature evolution can only take place once life has already started.

So your "god" needed to have something start life before he could begin evolving. So what started the life that started "god".

You don't solve anything with all this nonsense of yours all you do is move the question further back in time.

Why the hell do I feed the brainless trolls?

Let me start with something simple, so you can be feed my brain, Do you agree with this definition?

The Evolution is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.

Nope go and read that evolution 101 course by Berkeley University I sent to your pm box a while ago and learn to stop spouting empty platitudes.

That and trees don't grow from mustard seeds. Laughat

I mean I'm no farmer but I'm fairly certain tree dna is not contained in mustard seeds something you would know if you took the time to read up on the topic.

Janus for the sake of argument let's pretend your premises are true. How does it follow from your premises that god is the absolute truth?

Member of the Cult of Reason

The atheist is a man who destroys the imaginary things which afflict the human race, and so leads men back to nature, to experience and to reason.

The Omega Point as this supreme point of complexity and consciousness. Here we find a being with the characteristics we understand God have. Capable to control time and space and be in the entire universe at all times.

The other option for the future of the universe is that inert matter wills the only object in the universe.

If we select the second option as the absolute truth, evolution will get rid of us and create another being that will not see 3.5 billion years of evolution as a waste of time.

I am reminded of Hitchens when I read such posts. I can hear him calling out the other party by deducing that they have spoken a bunch of words but haven't said anything.

“Science is simply common sense at its best, that is, rigidly accurate in observation, and merciless to fallacy in logic.”

Janus,

Please a) re-construct the above into statements that make sense to an English speaking audience.
and b) re-work the above into statements that are testable
then c) explain what is an "absolute" truth
then d) provide evidence for your claims.

Thanks

a) Will take me some time

b) Is Atheism testable or a choice?

c) Absolute means there is the only choice.

d) Evidence is the life around you. Where is life going?

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

a) No problem, take your time.
b) Why have you made a leap to atheism? Your earlier comment didn't mention it. I thought you were talking astrophysics and evolution... I see no connection to atheism.
c) No it does not. It means the "ultimate extreme of a gradiated scale".
d) Please explain how "life around you" is evidence for your earlier statements.

No rush, as I said, take your time.

Who is to come in the evolution chain?

The answer the Omega (the last in the evolution chain)

Is this Omega an almighty?

Understanding the two choices for the future we have:

A) Yes the omega will be the almighty

B) No, death is the only future of the universe.

Being you part of life A is the only acceptable answer.
There's no point in arguing with you as long as you don't have any clue what Evolution is.
