I read the Old Testament, and if the way he abused his chosen people is any guide, we're better off without his blessing.

Of course....of course

What they mean of course is that they aren't blessing it right now. Bigoted dicks

Why not give them a sign saying move to Israel?

I'd like to ask them for a list of which countries are God Blessed currently. I think the middle east would be lighting up that

We thought about some low-level vandalism of rearranging the letters, but...meh, it would just be used as confirmation bias for their already moronic views. Dodgy

Well, (been watching Ken Burns "Rooseveldts" .. very good BTW) since Jebus didn't seem to do much in the way of *blessing* 'Murica back in the days when it was (by their definition) FAR FAR FAR less godless (Great Depression, dust storms, world wars), than it is today, I guess I won't run over ta church anytime soon. Angel

Insufferable know-it-all.Einstein God has a plan for us. Please stop screwing it up with your prayers.

Godless countries do so much better than those supposedly "blessed" countries.

If you seriously wanted your country to be better, promote atheism Smile

Right now my Facebook is littered with "Liberal crazies war on America's morality", "country going down the drain without God" propaganda.

It's nearly intolerable to know I'm surrounded by the people.

Pablo - I often give that response when someone says, "God bless you."

"Oh, my, I hope not! I've read about what happens to the people God blesses!"

"Theology made no provision for evolution. The biblical authors had missed the most important revelation of all! Could it be that they were not really privy to the thoughts of God?" - E. O. Wilson
