RE: Going old school.
Looks just like this, but background is red not yellow, and the pong sign at the top is gone.

RE: Going old school.
I got Pong for Christmas when I was around 10 or 12. It was the coolest thing any kid could ever want. I was sure my parents didn't have that kind of money to buy such an extravagant gift! I thought that was the best Christmas ever, until I was 15 and I got the Sears version of Atari. I knew my parents couldn't afford that even more so, but they did.
I don't remember clearly what the thing was with Atari. You could buy the name brand or pay a little less and buy a Sears edition. But the games were all Atari. Frogger and Pitfall were big favorites. It was just a fucking apple man, we're sorry okay? Please stop the madness ![]() ~Izel |

I mean with the video game industry ever increasing, wait till the current 12year olds turn 30 and that machine will be worth shit loads. |

I'm sure much like when I was a kid, there were a lot of great games when you were a kid. There were also a lot of crappy games as well. Check out cinemassacre.com if you want proof. I have seen some great games come out recently, along with a lot of crap. When I was a kid, I had to go with best guess on buying games. Now I can go on youtube and watch a game being played and read reviews before I buy. |
