Going to Las Vegas..
Going to Las Vegas for my birthday/Christmas. Honestly, I don't know what the fuss is about. But apparently it's a good time. So... Any suggestions on things I should do there?

Set a limit on how much money you are willing to lose and stick to it.

And have fun.

Yeah, I won't be spending much. I probably won't be gambling, but if I did I'd just try a small sum, maybe just to say I've gambled in Las Vegas Tongue .... Idk. I can't really imagine spending much there. I think the place is overrated. But I guess I'll see.

Sin city, huh?

What to do there depends on your budget. No matter what that may be, there is enough to do and see there to keep you busy for weeks. You can stay off the strip (within a block) and do it on the cheap, or stay in a palace and everything in between.

There are tons of free shows, the casinos are all interesting architecturally, there are free pool parties all over the place, there are shows to see in every price range, It all depends on what you like. If you tell me more, I'll make real suggestions.

I had dozens of business meetings and conferences in Vegas and am quite familiar, except for City Center, haven't been there much, it's fairly new.

There are many many things to do in Vegas....most cost $$, but what the hell.

I'm not a gambler, so I frequently seek out other alternative ways to enjoy myself.

Are you going with someone one of the opposite sex? If so, his/her ideas and desires may play a big part in what you wind up doing. If not, may I suggest "The Green Door"? Look it up online...and be prepared before you go. You'll know what I mean after you read about it.

There's always this. Tongue

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

Eat lots of good food. You can find some of the best food, and best service in the U.S. in Las Vegas. Enjoy!

Disclosure: It will cost you though.

Also remember that if you find yourself standing in front of an all night preacher while his wife throws minute rice that according to the band Was Not Was

"Wedding vows in Vegas
aren't meant to last for ages"

So be good! And if you're not, name it after me. Thumbsup
