Going to see Les Miserable in a few hours.
Very excited. I've loved the play for a long time and the music is some of the best to come out of musical theatre. It will be neat to see what they do with it.

My expectations were high and they were met. Take a hanky.

Try not to sing along as it will annoy the people around you.

Thanks for the advice!! Smile

...however I will have a hard time not singing along because you mentioned it and I will be thinking about it and how fun it would be to annoy everyone Coffeedrinker

I had to walk out near the end. I liked the movie. I like musicals. Love the actors and acting. I just could not take such a long musical! LOL. So I had to leave.

I still can't get the music out of my head, I saw it a few weeks ago.

I don't generally like musicals. Never have, never will. I saw this with my ex whom I also don't generally like.

Despite that, I liked the movie. A lot. Enough that I will definitely buy it on blu-ray when it's out.

Yeah. I cried like a baby. (thanks for the warning DLJ)

That being said. The singing was pretty good. Most of it was a little above average...except Russell Crowe....It was kind of like listening to a bad karaoke performance
