Oh well, I guess it could be worse. At least I'm white, if I were middle eastern I'd probably be getting a first hand experience of extraordinary rendition already. Big Grin

Let's just hope they don't find out about that name change, from Hussein to Hughsie... Smooth *exaggerated* Wink

I make duvet covers in my professional drapery workshop. We put snaps in all four corners to keep it from shifting around. Many high end duvets that are readymade have ties or snaps to keep it stable but you have to spend more money to get those. Sorry.

Alright, 6 pages of reading about duvets and I still don't know what one is. Guess I'll finally google it...

It's a quilt.

Why do quilts need snaps?

I see it as more of a fancy comforter. you buy a plain comforter, and it becomes the "stuffing" when you buy the duvet cover. Hughsie needs snaps so that the comforter doesn't get all bunched up inside the duvet cover.

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta

Now I want Poutine and it's too late to get some (that's what she said), so that's great. Dodgy

It's a quilt.

It is not a cover or a quilt, it is a slip-cover for a comforter. I believe the goal is to be able to properly wash it for hygienic reasons but to avoid needing to stuff a huge ass comforter into the washing machine and then have it bunch up on the fourth dryer cycle and still not be able to get that damn wet spot out while the corners are all hot and dry for hours. I need to get me a proper duvet. Undecided
