Good documentaries?
I am sitting here wondering what are some good documentaries that I could watch. Any suggestions? I would love to learn about the origins of Christianity or videos regarding atheistic topics. But I am open for all suggestions.

Thank you

RE: Good documentaries?
All of these should be on Netflix (except Vice)

Religion:

Selling God (marketing prospective on religion, freaking brilliant)
Religulous w/ Bill Maher
Jesus Camp

Political:

The Panama Deception
The Best Government Money Can Buy
Declining By Degrees (frontline)
The Medicated Child (frontline)
Prohibition(Nova)
Independent Intervention
The Iraq War Profiteers
The Corporation
Revolution OS
Trinity: The Atomic Bomb Movie
Speaking Freely: Confessions of an Economic Hitman
Speaking Freely: The CIA (don't remember the exact title)
The entire Vice series (HBO)
Planet Earth is mind blowing if you haven't seen that.

Anything about the 2008 collapse is pretty good, there is one about Enron that was good...There is one about Henry Kissenger that was eye opening.

...There are more...I watch so many documentaries on Netflix...but I try to avoid the medical/environmental ones, I know too much already and it's too disturbing.

While he does make some very good points I didn't care for Chris Rock's: Good Hair
Maybe because I've never spent that much on my hair and I thought most of those women were walking stereotypes

RE: Good documentaries?
There are several links in the link I posted about atheism and religion. It makes it nice because you can link right to it and not have to go searching.

Some members here have made a really nice listing of all sorts of resources on the topic you ask about. Books, docs, videos...it's a quite extensive and comprehensive list.
