And I would love to move to very rural Vermont and live on a large farm, so no judgement from me Smile Although I am not sure about dealing w/ that much snow...

I was just joshin' with you, my friend. BTW, Stephen King lives here too. Living in very rural Maine must do something to your outlook on life.

How rural? Like York? Or China? Or Moosehead? Consider

Like I can see the stars at night rural. Any more specific and my legions of loyal (or is it rabid?) fans might ferret me out.

Were drifting apart. It sucks because he once was pretty liberal and fancy free but now struggles with control and angst. His wife pretty much pushed him to start going to church years ago...
This is a pretty typical story of someone without much of a center, who mimics his environment to remain acceptable to people. He's not the first person who sold his soul for a soul-mate who probably is not, in fact, anything of the sort. I'm speaking here from the perspective of someone who deconverted with no objection or interference from my wife at all. That marriage ended only because she died, it had nothing to do with my personal beliefs. Our relationship was based on our admiration for each other, not on our beliefs or lack thereof.

Unless he comes to you for advice or help you just have to let it be what it is.

I wasn't asking for the specific location, just the comparative ruralosity.

Hmmm... In that case, somewhere between China and Moosehead (a Choosehead, if you will).

Stephen King, however, lives in the bustling metropolis of Bangor, Maine.

P.S. Apologies to the OP for derailing the thread.
