Don't say "wrong".

The politically correct term is "non-neuro-typical"

And... join the club.

That's a big leap.

Ohmy
That's not a big leap, that's a 1 in 50 leap, further made advisable by the child's precise structured speech and great interest in classification of lifeless facts and objects instead of lively persons and animals. The brain plays a role in what can better capture and hold our attention, what is it best equipped to perceive and to find most stimulating. We call that neurodiversity, when we're politically correct.

In my opinion, checking children for Asperger's should be as common as checking them for chicken pox, myopia or bad hearing. It's not necessarily a bad thing, not an end of the world, but requires a different upbringing and socialization techniques, to get through the adolescence and adulthood without feeling like landing on a wrong planet.
You can bet that my parents bragged about me just like KC, but they were also completely clueless of what is or isn't a normal child behavior. Imagine what happens when the boy gets among loud, hyperactive kids grown up on SpongeBob, who talk like trash. Nobody likes their fellow little grammar nazis hellbent on facts, rules and classifications.

Well, yeah. There're in all likelihood at least a couple things that are "non-typical" in everyone...
