Greetings from Lebanon
Hi y'all. I'm a 25 year old Lebanese, quadriplegic guy. I was raised catholic, but I eventually became an atheist a few years back. I'm kinda proud of myself in a way for being able to leave the norm of the religious communities dominating my country. It is a hard challenge for someone like me to do so, specially in a society where I'm surrounded by bigoted, quixotic, religious fanatics.
I joined this forum hoping to engage myself in rational arguments with you guys and exchange our views.
Peace.

RE: Greetings from Lebanon
Glad you're with us!

Lebanon is such a beautiful country. (Most of the time.)

But I think our Turkish member, who lives in a port city that is simply breathtaking, wins the prize for best view out the window.

I hope you find the sense of community you seek, in here. These are good people. Except Gulegon. He's a little shady.

(I've got my eye on you, Guley!)

RE: Greetings from Lebanon
While visiting Israel a few years back I stuck my arm into your country for about 10 seconds. It was warm.

Welcome!
