Not the appreciating the weather thread.
Please people.

I have a gripe.
The weather here is boring.
All we ever get is nice. All the time nice. Just fucking nice.
Not too hot. Not too cold. Just those damn nice ocean breezes.
I'm a gonna fucking move somewhere else.

Well, maybe next week.

Aw, that's such a tragedy Bucky. You poor thing. Weeping I need to get out my little violin. Sadcryface

I used to live in South Pasadena and the only variety in the weather was warm and a little warmer. When you want to go outside you just put on a shirt, shorts and some flip-flops and you're good to go. Takes about 25 seconds.

I just went for a walk in the 28 degree, 30 mile an hour windy weather and I had to put on gloves, a hat, snowboarding socks, a scarf, warm pants a big ol down jacket over a thick sweater. It took me about 15 minutes to get myself all dressed to take the walk. But by god, I did it! No damn weather is going to keep me stuck inside.

So there! Angry

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Guess it's time to stop wearing sandles and dig out shoes and find socks that match.

Dodgy

Are matching socks really necessary? Consider

For me? Yes.

Not only that but they need to go with my shoes. In this case today, since I don't have boots, I'm wearing cute black and pink tennies. So my socks must be either black or pink (i found pink). I only buy solid colors in socks. I'm weird that way.

RE: Griping about the weather thread
Last week I had the windows open at least part of the day for several days...tomorrow morning the wind chill is supposed to be 12 degrees. Off to find a nice warm top and scarf to wear to work...I broke out the boots a couple days ago.

It was 22 last night when my man got "Bryce" home.

He said he didn't think my car was happy. He said he thought the car was moaning all the way home.

Laugh out load

It's whiskey weather.

It's whiskey weather.

Indeed. I picked up a bottle of Maker's Mark after work. 12 degrees and a layer of snow is just right for it, if only we could use the fireplace it would be perfect. One of these days we'll get that damn thing fixed.

Only nipping though, I'm taking it easy.

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

RE: Griping about the weather thread
Very happy to have found the box I packed my sweaters away in last spring.

Considering that I am still missing stuff from all the moving around we had to do while the house was being fixed, finding the sweaters was a good thing. Thumbsup
