They don't sell that shit around here...I could look on amazon but by the time it got here our cold snap will have ended. That said, might be good to have just in case since there's plenty of months of winter left. He used a lighter to warm the key and that worked.

We're expecting ice for the weekend, oh goody. Dodgy

Yup. 17 our here in Troutdale too. I think it's supposed to snow and then turn to ice, Moms. So, ice on top of snow. Lovely combination. I think I'll just hang out at home tomorrow.

My friend's kids haven't been to school for nearly a month (the week before winter break, then two weeks break time and they're still not back). They just got an email from their district saying something about how the school year will be extended. This fucked up weather keeps keeps up they'll be going until July. Dodgy

Our school district I think has used up all their days the week before the break (think they only allow for three). If Next week produces more snow days, I'm not going to be happy.

I'm in Vienna. Clear night skies. Super beautiful. You can spot the moon and the stars and even clouds walking the streets, here and there, through the meticulously and beautifully layed infrastructure.
The winds are chilly, but ever refreshing to a Nordic soul like me. Smile

All in all, it's like walking through a fairytale land. And every evening is a different surprise, it seems like. The other night the sky looked stormy, and the beauty, yet again, was intense and soul crushing.

I've got no food in the house. There's some but not if this is a huge extended event.

Sounds like I'll be getting up early and running to the market.

Maybe tonight since they're open late.

I'll speak to the man at dinnertime and see what he suggests.

Here's Celsius:

Where I'm living the wind is blowing 25 mph and the temp is 25 Fahrenheit so the wind chill factor says it feels 9 degrees. Burrrr.

It's low 40s Fahrenheit, and raining here and I've got paint work to do on my truck. Ain't happening today. Dodgy Gotta get it done so I can get the new camper shell on. Fortunately, it isn't built, yet. But the guy said mid-January, and I need to hustle.
