RE: Griping about the weather thread
It's the 29th of March and nearly 47°F, tomorrow will be 50°F and sunny. So I took up the snow stakes marking the driveway and walks for snow clearing. I mean, it's spring, right? Yes

But nooooooooo - Friday night they say we get up to 10" of wet, heavy snow. Facepalm

It will be the 20th anniversary of the April Fool's Storm when we got 3 feet of snow. Dodgy

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

So, the forecast for the next 12 hours is for thunderstorms...dandy, just fucking dandy.

I have come to hate spring in north Texas. Dodgy

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

RE: Griping about the weather thread
It is sooooooo windy here today.

I counted two downed trees blocking roads.

A third, I think might have hit a house.

Usually trees only fall behind our house, but I gather with the soaking rains we've been getting the trees are just falling over. From the ROOTS.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Do they land on the weird dudes wandering around back there? Tongue

April 2017 was the coldest April since 17 years in Germany. Sad

Well, I would complain but it's so freaking dark, I can't actually see the pouring rain. Which has been happening for hours and hours, now. Because ... you know ... we like rain.
Especially on our days off.
When we have plans for outdoor fun. Undecided

No kidding. I'm going to the store to get some comfort food cooking supplies then it's right back inside for the day. Stupid cold rainy Saturday.

The kids are grounded from video games, they may just have to actually play with some of the hundreds of dollars worth of toys they have laying around untouched. Sadcryface

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Monday is May. MAY! I want my Sun. Dodgy
