I've got stuff to do but it's freezing rain out there. Angry

It’s dark and rainy.

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

Our slushy rain came & went yesterday. Right now, the temp is around 40f but the wind chill knocks it down to fucking cold - 32f, so says science.

You'd think it would feel somewhat warmer since we actually have a little sun. Consider

Bad snow. I just spent an hour getting home from my job 15 minutes away because the roads right now are "there are lanes somewhere, there are also ditches. Good luck telling where it all is bitches"

Need to think of a witty signature.

We are currently having a north Texas thunderstorm...rain, sleet, thunder, and lightning.

The weather app on my phone says we are having 'light rain' Ummm....no, we aren't. It's freakin' pouring out there. I was getting ready to go get groceries, now I need SCUBA gear or at least a snorkel just to get to my car. Dodgy

The guys at work told me to run catch my bus, they were staying a little late to finish working with the contract divers. I called them from the bus stop and asked them to put some ice melt out on the dock in a coffee can for Monday. It wil lbe in the 20's and the steel ramps, dock, and the crane deck will be an ice rink. I will have to ice melt my way in to the job, slowly. I hope they left it out for me Sadcryface

It's supposed to snow here tomorrow. Skiers are happy and heading up to Mt. Hood for fun on the slopes. I think it'll be about the last snow event for the season and hopefully there won't be any ice rain with it. I despise ice rain.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

Portland seems to get far too much of it with the cold air dumping out of the gorge.

RE: Griping about the weather thread
There’s been a lot of buzz in local weather about Southern California getting struck by a brutal “cold snap” this week.

We’re expecting a daily high of 61F in the middle of February. Dodgy

I’m not even bothering wearing a jacket today. If this is what Californians consider to be brutal now I think I might want to take Full Circle up on that beautiful patch of land in Lincoln, Montana he’s been touting about.

You know, living in hell is a lot more boring than I thought it would be.
