Gun safe Question
A friend's husband wants her to learn to shoot a gun. He's purchased her a gun and got her a biometric gun safe. She's not a gun person at all. They have little kids...

That's my question what is a biometric gun safe?

But as if to knock me down, reality came around
And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces

It is one that uses some biological marker, usually a fingerprint, to unlock.
Most will allow programming for multiple acceptable fingerprints, such as husband and wife.

RE: Gun safe Question
It only unlocks with your fingerprints.

RE: Gun safe Question
And here I thought this was a question that would be safe to ask around firearms.

My little rambling blog. (More topical than this one, at least.)

Not sure if play on words or sarcasm or incoherent.

Care to rephrase?

NOTE: Member, Tomasia uses this site to slander other individuals. He then later proclaims it a joke, but not in public.
I will call him a liar and a dog here and now.

It's a gun-safe question, like something that's idiot-proof or fool-proof...in this case it's gun-safe, or safe around guns. I don't know if that makes any sense. That was my first though as well, for some reason.

RE: Gun safe Question
Thanks Chas and FC!

Thumbsup

I had no idea such things existed. Of course I can pay for stuff using my finger on my phone (not to mention unlock it) so, it really shouldn't surprise me at all.

I didn't want to ask my friend, since she was a bit miffed over it.
