See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?

Happy birthday!!

But now I have come to believe that the whole world is an enigma, a harmless enigma that is made terrible by our own mad attempt to interpret it as though it had an underlying truth.

Well, it is made by a cake decorator, so maybe poetic license was involved. I made a silkscreen for a tank top for my wife when I was in Uni. It had φυσική stenciled on it. Most physics majors didn't get it.

Girly, I don't know what kind of PhD Physicists you deal with, but I only have a BSc degree and retired at 62.

ETA- FFS, this was supposed to be for cjlr's post, the one before mine...

Let's just make it clear, right here. Physicists can do any job that an engineer can do, but generally speaking, neither one realizes it. My job title was technically "Member of the Technical Staff". I've done Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering in my checkered past, and your physical and national security are the better for it. Drinking Beverage yourself.

Sorry for the derail, cjlr.
