I was once a great connoisseur of coffee as most Seattlelites are. I have a special little widget that makes the best cup of coffee ever, which is this: http://www.peets.com/equipment/equipment...one-2.html
(Oh!!! I just learned they have a glass one. Drooling [Image: 504042_l.png]).

My favorite blend is Peet's Sulawesi-Kalosi, which is from Sumatra. http://www.peets.com/coffee/coffee-shop-...alosi.html ground for a #2 cone drip filter.

However, as you are aware, I am rather mentally ill suffering from Major Depression Recurrent and Dysthymia (that is, Double Depression) and generalized anxiety. When I started seeing a new psychiatrist in January, the first thing he did was make me stop drinking coffee because it exacerbates anxiety attacks. (He also made me promise to stop drinking alcohol, but after 2 months, I'm enjoying a nice glass of wine even as we type).

So...I do not drink coffee, but when I did, I preferred home brew rather than going to a coffee stand. HOWEVER...I did on occasion like to go here: http://www.cowgirlsespresso.com/

Weeping

That's brutal, Dude.

So, my aunt had the same thing reco'ed by her doctor. Except he lets her have 1/4 caf and 3/4 decaf as a compromise. Obviously you should do what's best for the health, but might be worth looking into.

Next question, Are you sorry you opened the door to ask questions yet?

No don't answer. Real question:

What is the most bizarre thing you've ever seen in real life (no online vids, ha ha)?

Easy...ever been to Seattle? I would like to introduce you to the Jimi Hendrix Music Experience:

As to my favorite bizarre experience: meeting a woman from an online dating service. As we were sitting at the bar before dinner we get to sharing what our occupations were. She lowers her voice a bit and says that she works as an escort. I say, you're not going to charge me for the date are you? She didn't. She was apparently looking to have a relationship with someone in her off duty time. Blink

It was just a fucking apple man, we're sorry okay? Please stop the madness Laugh out load

Why are you asking ME? You don't know?

It sounds like a very successful day!

Stark Raving will have to hook you up with the Canadian shit. I'll be headed to the store on Tuesday, but I'm not planning any trips to the Rose City anytime soon!

Ya, last time I was there was a year and a half ago. I was standing outside and some guy skating by yelled at me, "You're so gangster!". Seattle has some good people.

That's golden. Why did she lower her voice? Did you lower yours?

Never mind, those aren't real questions either.

If you had to speak any language other than your own fluently, but never speak english again, what language would it be? Would you move to another location for it?

LJ, unless the question was aimed only at Erxomai, it was rather discriminatory. I think I'll have to report you to the mods. Oh wait... never mind. Rolleyes

I used to think I would move to an English-speaking country, but now I'm not too sure. (And I have yet to visit one, too.)

Leaving English aside, I'd totally switch to Portuguese. In a heartbeat. And I would totally spend half the year in Brazil and the other half in Portugal. Ah, I miss the air of Lisbon so much. Sadcryface

It was. I'll rephrase for others Big Grin

If you had to choose another language to speak other than your native tongue, and would never speak your native language again, what language would it be?

And Vera, I'm sorry you miss your beloved other home so much Heart I know the feeling.

I miss all the places I've lived in and a lot of the people I've met so very much... I should stop travelling and meeting new people, this way I'll save myself a lot of heartache...

Hopefully, my next trip is going to suck soooo much, I'll be glad to leave and never look back Big Grin

(I wouldn't mind subsisting on Italian, either.)
