Was that eating, throwing, or both?

RE: Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans
I have all the food necessary to put on a traditional Thanksgiving feast. My daughter, her husband, her mother-in-law, and my oldest granddaughter will be here.

My son is going to his girlfriend's family's get together but wants to come here afterward because he likes my cooking better. Big Grin

I invited a coworker and her daughter but I think she feels too awkward to come...I will re-invite her this week.

A plate will be made for my son-in-law's grandmother who is in a nearby nursing home.

I will be up early cooking and blasting music. We will eat too much food. Football will be watched and the smuggling of the Christmas cactus to my son's yard will occur. Tongue

It'll be a good day.

I hope everyone else has good food and good company!

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

My favorite turkey comedy bit. (Friends tv show later stole this from Mr BeanAngry)

Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors.... on Donald J. Trump:

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

We host Thanksgiving. I insist on it for two reasons. First, my wife is a good cook and neither my mom or my sister are. When we've had it elsewhere, it sucked. Second, everyone lives an hour or more away. Driving on Thanksgiving sucks ass. This way, I can start drinking at noon and relax. Sure, I help my wife however I can but that's much easier than sitting in traffic.

Looking forward to the feast and the football.

P.S. I hope I didn't offend anybody. I am not sure any more what is politically correct now and what is not. Smile

I've got some Lakota half brothers so technically posting the word Thanksgiving on Facebook could be perceived as offensive.

That said...

Why? Seriously, what would be offensive about it?
