I peel them as they're eaten, they last longer that way. Yes, they'll spoil faster if they are peeled at once. 3-4 days peeled. Unpeeled they'll last a good week and a half (I personally wouldn't keep them longer than that). But as if to knock me down, reality came around And without so much as a mere touch, cut me into little pieces |

I'll continue to peel as I eat them then!

I like hard boiled eggs...don't know why I never think to make some.
See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF |

RE: Hard boiled eggs.
It's faster and tastier to just fry some over easy.
Faster still to just crack em in a glass and drink em. |

Not true.
You can hard boil 12 eggs with about a minute of effort. Plus it requires almost no watching, and tastes good days down the line without the need to cook (can eat on the road)! I prefer fantasy, but I have to live in reality. |

RE: Hard boiled eggs.
Bring water to a boil. Take a needle and poke a hole in the fat end of the egg. Don't go deep, just through the shell. Gently and slowly lower the eggs into boiling water with a spoon. The air now has a way to escape and the eggs won't crack unless you put them in too fast.
Boil 8 minutes or so, depending on your elevation. Lazy? Want an omelette/scrambled eggs asap? Break eggs into bowl. Add a bit of milk stir it up. Add whatever you want. Microwave on low , stir after a minute or so. ![]() |
