That's one of the weirdest nonsequiturs I've ever seen. Let me try one!

If Batman comics are just comics and Batman isn't real, why is he always depicted with a batterang?

That was surprisingly liberating. I think I just jettisoned some brain cells.

Oh good. I thought I was the only one that didn't get it.

If the rules about baseball were written by men and not a baseball, then why do the rules talk about baseballs ?

I truly cannot imagine a more stupid question.

Ah that's the term I was looking for, my brain kept failing to process the question, like when someone uses a question like "would you not like a drink" zzzzz brain fail.

Theism is to believe what other people claim, Atheism is to ask "why should I".

In Pennsylvania, it is illegal to sleep on top of a refrigerator outdoors.

The Ten Commandments don't have an exclusive on ridiculousness.

We have enough youth. How about looking for the Fountain of Smart?

If the Bible is just the creation of men, then...
Why circumcision?
Why a prohibition from banging your wife for a week after her period?
Why give everyone, including slaves and animals, every seventh day off?
Why prohibit farming every seventh year?
Why the death penalty for gathering wood on the Sabbath?

If the Bible is inspired by God why all those things? They all seem ridiculously random even factoring in a deity.

Just how is that question in any way, shape, or form "hard-hitting"...?

Yesssss... Now that you have pointed this out I have started believing that the WHOLE bible is GOOD and written by GOD. Let me just conveniently ignore everything else.

Judge the dumbest student in the class by that one answer he got right (who knows by what means) and declare him smart. Why stop there? He is gods gift to humanity!

What are you going to prove next? Magic? Please.. I love magic..!

No, deities were first invented as externalized abstract concepts that embodied human characteristics/emotions and explained natural phenomena. Only when civilizations with social hierarchies developed were gods used as tools by the elite.

Every religion begins essentially like this.

One guy says to another: "Hey, buddy. Listen. God told me to tell you that he wants you to do what I say because he talks to me. Oh, and God also said that you should give me some money so I can tell others."

The basic scam has not changed since the agricultural revolution.
