Ugghhhh!! I'm guessing he hated working on that movie. It was written by someone who knew absolutely nothing about airplanes. Cheesy and unrealistic.

Yes, that was bad, but as I told you, you should see him handling his YT-1300 light freighter, now that's flying.

But he didn't know shit there, either. He said his ship could make the Kessel Run in less than 12 Parsecs. Parsecs are units of distance NOT time!

Being a good pilot does not mean you know what you are talking about. That is why he was a smuggler for a long time, not a military pilot, or something that would require school and knowledge. But he's got instinct and reflexes.
