Has anyone else seen this trailer?
This has been on my Facebook feed twice, both times shared by the same person. It's got Kevin Sorbo and Dean Cain. God's Not Dead is the name of the movie, and it looks like it is based on a song, like Christmas with a capital C a couple years ago.

My search was not thorough enough then. I would have thought that if the first search result would be that other movie from 2010, then maybe it hadn't been posted. My bad.

Hey, I see you have an avvy now. Thumbsup

Don't mind me, that was a preemptive troll-strike. Come around without an avvy, kinda look like a troll. Tongue

Anyhoo... ain't about a song but rather a fallacious and insidious Christian meme.

No prob Nextan00b - HoC may have not had his minimum momentary requirement of The Gwynnies. Not to mention - that film looks to be a nasty little atheist basher and could make most anyone a bit testy.

I think it would be fun to get it into a theater and have an atheist viewing night and do an MST3K on it - or turn it into a Rocky Horror Picture Show type event. Consider Wonder if I can get my local art house to handle such a thing?

Might be fun to advertise it as a draw for atheist groups as a meet & greet thing - even if it's just shown at a regular atheist meeting place. Shy Just thinking out loud.

Oh - by the way - Welcome to the forum. Smile

The "angry at god" fallacy is alluded to, if that's the one you meant. He isn't an atheist because he reasoned his way to atheism, he lost a child.

(I've been thinking about this way too much.)

Then, the way he threatens to fail anyone who doesn't agree with him? How dogmatic. I commented on my friend's post something to that effect. No reply. No desire to discuss something with someone. Why do people post this kind of stuff if they won't have conversations about it?
