Welcome!

RE: Hello, I'm me
Hi!

Your thread title reminds me of a child's poem that I memorized when I was 8 years old.........guess what, I still remember it and I'm a'gonna recite it right now. Dodgy

Um....it's titled Me, Myself and I.

Me, Myself and I

I had a little tea party
This afternoon and three.
T'was very small,
Three guests in all.
Just I, myself and me.

Myself ate up the sandwiches,
While I drank up the tea.
T'was also I who ate the pie,
And passed the cake to me.

Thank you, thank you very much.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I didn’t even know that was a line of study. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

BTW, like your avatar.

Thank you for the kind words. We have historians of all disciplines and dimensions--one of my colleagues is a specialist in polar explorations, another is an underwater archaeologist who explores the Great Lakes for artifacts about the War of 1812, a third colleague writes about water-powered industry in the American South.
Loads of fun! But I mostly lecture about the History of Western Civilization from the Neo-lithic to 1600.
