Hello from Phoenix
Hi all!

I am very happy to have found this forum. I am a 29 year old guy living in Phoenix. I grew up Catholic, school, weekly mass, altar boy, the whole nine yards. I finally got to the point where I got tired of religion and the way it attempts to control free though. In about 1998 I moved from PA to AZ and we started going to church less, which allowed me to formally break away.

Living in Phoenix has some advantages, however the Christian Conservative movement from neighboring states is creeping in here.

All in all, I went from being a quiet atheist, to a person who is proud of the atheist title and is tired of the constant presence of "christian values" in the local and federal legal system.

Thanks guys!
