Well, he seems familiar with the peoples of Beleriand, so I have to give him extra credit for that. Instant like from me. Smile

An appropriate name-choice for a craftsman.

Welcome! I think I wrote that in the refugee thread too, but hey, what's a guy to do?

Stick around, a fundie or creationist will stumble in here occasionally. Some people just love those chew toys! Laugh out load

I have worked as a mechanic and a millwright in the past, and do coppersmithing when I get time. I almost got a gig as a tool and die maker, but some of those guys are kind of touchy about sharing knowledge.

As the saying goes:
"Berkshire born and Berkshire bred
Strong in arm and thick in head"

I wasn't Berkshire born but I was Berkshire bred.

Never been to Chester though. It seems Chester folk were modest in their catholicism (fashioned in the architectural style of Khazad-dûm, I'm guessing):

RE: Hello from The Berkshires.
My only exposure to the Berkshires is from "Sweet Baby James", unfortunately. I've longed to see them since I first heard James Taylor singing about it.

It's the first song I sang to my baby boy.

G'day mate, and welcome to TTA. Smile

I'm a creationist... I believe that man created God.
