It's grey. I really really wanted the teal one. Sad

I have to say so far I like driving it.

Starting it and stopping it are different tho. No key...don't get that satisfaction from turning the key to turn it off. Tapping a park button isn't doing for me.

I'm missing my Grateful Dead and jazz stations on xm too. Oh and I have to carry the garage door opener with me. So, that's a bummer.

But otherwise I'm kinda liking it.

I guess you're a better lay than you realized.

Husband said if I were better, I would have gotten the teal.

My bro has one. It drives so quietly a couple times I wondered if it was actually "turned on". You got 98 %. Life's a compromise. Ya made off like a bandit. Tongue

I thought I killed the engine at one point Facepalm it also makes weird noises in the garage. Dodgy but yeah, I did. It's a gun metal grey...so when the sun hits it a certain way it can look blue. Smile

I also need to figure out the garage sweet spot. Also need a new garage door opener.

You'll have to let us know if the mpg lives up to the hype.

That garage door opener issue belongs in the first world problems... Tongue

We drove it to dinner last night. It was 6 miles round trip in heavy traffic, stop and go. When we got home, it said we used 40 cents of gas.

When you fill it up, it asks for the amount you paid. After each trip it displays the distance you drove battery info, and how much you spent on gas. Each month of driving it will display what your mileage is -- or year..blah blah.

We live in a mountain-y area, so I definitely use the gas to get up the hills. Going down, the engine turns off until its needed again. Fucking weird.

It's got some pick up...like at a stop light when you've got to move. Light turns green...I want to move..it doesn't want to do that...but it totally will.

Around here, like when I pick up the kiddo at school I won't use any gas, except going up the hill. I usually leave here around 5 minutes or so before he gets out -- he gets out early because he's in special needs. Then I just sit in the parking lot (usually with the engine running). In this car I'll use zero gas.

Best news for me...no snow chains. If it snows I just don't leave the house and say fuck it. I really really like that.

At the time, it did almost make me want to say no. My green mom van handled snow pretty well.

I don't know. The van did and it had some anti slippy thing I never understood.

Traction control will get even the smallest car to claw it's way through snow up to (& often, over) the axle. It's good shit & pretty standard on many vehicles since 2010.
