Chemtrails aren't woo, damn it. We kicked Germany's ass with them in the Big Deuce:

Yes, that's a joke.

Quote:We all see the world differently. No matter how rational you are, your world is not at all the same as mine.

See, that I'm aware of. You can't mingle with people long before that revelation makes itself pretty clear. I was also very aware that there are a number of folks who will cheerfully eat your heart and liver with very little convincing. My mistake, I believe, is putting people, to some degree anyway, in one camp or another- either you're basically normal with some, what I would call, quirks....or, you have human body parts wrapped in foil in your fridge.
I suppose that's because as a "regular person", you aren't privy to people's quirks unless by accident or they want to share them with you, and the other end of the spectrum comes into your field of view only when someone is discovered munching on their neighbor, and you happen to be the cop that gets the call.
Regardless...people are nuts. Knights who say NI! Laughat

Quote: Yeah, it's enjoyable to make fun of it, but really it's just a bunch of lost people looking for answers. Woo and religion are much the same thing.
I appreciate your empathy, I really do- admire it even. But one thing my life has been...rich in...is dealing with the eventualities of weirdoes being left to their own thoughts and devices for too long. When I really stop and consider all of these lunkheads- lost or not- bent over their basement tables, chuckling evilly over the latest conspiracy they have "uncovered", and finding more and more reason to see other people not as human beings, but "The Opposition" and even "non-human"...well...I'm glad I live in the middle of nowhere and have a sizable gun collection, just in case. My ranch isn't likely to be a target like any gathering of people (movie theaters or fairs or whatever) seems to be these days. I am content to be here, enjoying myself, and dipping my toe into the flow of humanity as I wish, not thrust into it without a choice.

I'm not saying this is making me a paranoid hermit, I've always enjoyed my privacy, but seeing all of these people spouting inane gibberish for no apparent reason is disconcerting. I am quite happy to watch from...over here. Thumbsup

ARGH! I am so sick of this bullshit- as a pilot I've had to listen to it for 30+ years.

For the LAST TIME...that was NOT us, it was the FOO FIGHTERS. Do some research, for nonexistent deity's sake!

As if we had the technology for something like that. Any fool can see that originated on the dark side of the moon. Just ask Pink, if you can figure out which one he is.

Hmmm, there is something we have totally in common. Except for the gun collection - I just have one hand gun and one rifle. I suppose my police canine counts as a gun or two Tongue

Damned right it does! We have 16 dogs, 8 of them are German Shepherds, most trained to one degree or another as s&R, patrol, protection, etc. The other 8 are a mix of rotties and hounds. Don't need the guns very often Tongue

I collect firearms, primarily military weapons from WWI to now. My father collected everything, but leaned towards the old west. When he died he left everything to me, as I'm the primary gun enthusiast in the family and he didn't want to break the collection up. I think the last time I looked my collection is ranked 3rd in the state. I pity the fool that comes here intending malice...Evil_monster

LMAO...yeah, I already knew about that, although I did not know it was called rule 34. I flew for a search and rescue/air ambulance company on my days off, in Alaska. My copilot and I used to have to basically live at the hangar, 3 days on, 4 days off, ready to go. We did helicopter extractions of climbers and hunters, picked up injured or ill from native villages and took them to Anchorage or Fairbanks, etc.
We would get really bored sometimes, when nothing was happening. One of the games we used to play was "Find the porn". One guy would describe a disgusting sex act, the other had to find a picture of it online. It was hard to lose...and this was back in 2000 or 2001!

I think the most German Shepherds I ever had was 12. I was doing Schutzhund with them, some were imports, the others my own breeding. Now I just have the one canine Shepherd, his buddy Great Dane, and two small dogs.

I love living off the beaten path, love nature and much rather live here than someplace that's overrun with people.

I love Schutzhund, I did it with my main man (dog) Zeus. The others have all just gotten standard mil or pol training. My dogs- other than Zeus- all basically completed their programs but we found them unsuitable for sale for one reason or another.

I grew up off the beaten path and have stayed there, at least as far as my home goes. Even when living in other countries I found a place out of town and hidden away, while most foreigners tend to congregate in parts of town, etc. I think people thought I was a drug smuggler or something. Smile
