Help protect the internet.
Im not a U.S. citizen but i suspect most of the people on this site are,
A bill is proposed to censor the internet, and if it is passed the whole world might follow in these steps.

All i ask is that people go to this link, watch the video and decide for yourself
if this is an issue worth writing to your congressman about.

Good luck!

RE: Help protect the internet.
I've already written my congressman. But I don't think my congressman cares to vote the way I want him to. Angry

Anonymous will deal with this. It is only a matter of time.

I will continue to define the world as I see fit. That will not change.

RE: Help protect the internet.
I hope they don't. I personally don't think they'll go through with it. So many big internet companies (Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Tumblr, etc.) and non-internet related companies are against it. A large estimate of the public is even angry about it, and I don't blame them, because I'm angry too. I get on Tumblr alot, and the day they announced the bill, Tumblr had the home dashboard set up to where everything on your dashboard or blog was censored (to make Tumblr users aware.) Tumblr set up a "petition-by-phone" where they generated over 87,000 phone calls to US representatives. So, the well-intentioned have been heard up to this point.

Life's too short to even care at all.

This bill is not meant to solve any actual problem; it is another step in elevating corporations above the people and the government.

Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
