Here's a good one...
Cracking thread going on over at the christian camp...

I'm feeling sorry for the christian guy. He's outnumbered and outmatched.

Undecided

Their last poster was a mod...

"This thread is closed for staff review."

Aw! Shame! I was enjoying that.

Instead of "likes" they get "blessings"? And 22 quadrillion reps????? Is that even possible? I'm skeptical of that number Cool
We are so Neanderthal with our reps...so...um...realistic. Sleepy

I take it "Closed for mod review" is just a way of hoping this thread will fade from memory?

I.E.... I assume it will never be reopened after it's been "reviewed"? Tongue

One forum I belonged to had a "boneyard" where they move the posts that caused burdensome amounts of chaos. Only a few of the mods had access to that board. Their explanation was the post wasn't 'deleted'-- and if need be it could be referred back to--but it wasn't out in the open causing trouble anymore either.

They don't want the flock actually thinking about the questions and getting all riled up.

Why even have a discussion forum if you aren't open to various points of view? Why not stop pretending it's a foruma nd just call it "xian circle jerk," if that's what it is? I don't understand these people.

dude on that forum Wrote:Unfortunately it seems like they close off all the threads that are turning into an interesting conversation. Based on past history, I doubt they will reopen that one.
^And that's why I don't join these forums.

Not necessarily. Some threads on that forum are closed for review and later reopened.

The information in ancient libraries came from real minds of real people. The far more complex information in cells came from the far more intelligent mind of God.
