Then Fish quit and was forgotten!

Stupid phone! Smile

I was wondering WTF you were saying. Laugh out load

Not like a super-huge fan, but they had that one album I played the snot out of. Wink

Yeah when I was younger I enjoyed all that old Prog stuff from the 70's, Yes, King Crimson, Genesis, Gentle Giant etc. By the time Marillion came around that was all pretty much dead.

The first three albums drew me in, Script for a jester's tear, Fugazi and Misplaced childhood. Script had terrible drumming! So they sacked Mick Pointer and held auditions. Mover creamed everyone. Including Ian Mosley, the guy they called after Mover helped write the second album Fugazi.

All because a gorgeous model liked Mover, and not Fish. Mover awoke one morning to an aeroplane ticket sitting on his hotel dresser drawer.

Mover had an amazing career, owned a top New York studio, Spent a long time recording in Russia and basically still has a stunning career, currently he is also the editor of the only drum magazine worth reading, Drumhead. As well as playing.

Good drummers always work.

Who the hell remembers Marillion???

Here's a monster riff for ya:

Yeah they were nice guys. Smile

I've worked with a LOT of people, but I never sold myself. I still don't have my own web page. Always in the background. They probably don't even remember me. This would have been back around 93 or so.

Oh and Chris was really cool. No idea what he is like now after all the success. People do change. Especially singers and guitarists.

I worked for just three days. Nothing special.

I have worked with Smashing Pumpkins, Bjork, Primus etc.

It's just work.

Kind of scared to ask what answer you were expecting with that question lol

Mate I never kept a record. All my work was by recommendation....

This ain't my thread and I will mention something like, I worked with so and so, he was nice. But I don't want to go into details. Especially on someone elses thread.

Some were not so nice. Complete .....!!!

I don't even have a resume. Never needed one.

One day I may start a thread about it, or simply include it in my autobiography.

Just curious because I'm a fan of the band, brotha. Thanks for the PM.

I sent Thump the details. Nothing special. Smile

Like I said, it's just work. I have pretty much done everything in this business. If you wanna pay the rent as a working muso, that's what you do.

I've even worked with famous musicians outside of music. But THAT's a whole other story. Wink
