RE: Hi
Hey. Smile

I really hope you've started a trend of members posting video messages, that would be so cool.

Best and worst of Ferdinand .....
Best
Ferdinand: We don't really say 'theist' in Alabama. Here, you're either a Christian, or you're from Afghanistan and we fucking hate you.
Worst
Ferdinand: Everyone from British is so, like, fucking retarded.

RE: Hi
Glad to see you...

Tempted to bond on our mutual lack of magnetic orienting and echolocation...

Wow. I wonder if the discomfort of sensory differential is similar to the discomfort theists feel when meeting an atheist?

No, can't be. Senses are real.

My friend Nolan is blind from birth. I have known him for years, and I still feel the need to try to explain stuff to him. Never mind that he navigated a car around a campground.

Well, both he and his GPS were facing backward, but still... we got where we were going.

Like I said, glad to see you. :-)

I AM he who is called... cat furniture.

Well people who are born blind tend To be far more comfortable in their blindness. Anyone Who becomes blind later in life Has a lot of adjusting to do. Usually because we still remember the sense of sight we have a hard time adjusting so we do things like trying to write or looking in mirrors while putting on makeup even though we can't see the mirror. Most memories of sight are actually a huge Interferance when it comes to Navigation. From what my friends and Drs. Tell me this is going to be a lifelong adjustment and no one is ever completely at ease with it.
