Shows, huh?

In my day, we kept media out of our toys. Oh sure, there were commercials to bring word down from up on high, but we soon grew to distrust their lies.

We gained knowledge of our world from Lost in Space and Gilligan's Island. They were both the same show, but that really didn't matter because we knew they were just imparting philosophical ideals, which we would carry with us to build our own real world.

RE: Hi! My story!
A bit before my time really just means about 4 years, my sister watched them and is only 4 years older than me. There was a pretty rapid turnover in the early 90's for kids cartoons. Most of what I watched in the early 90's I can no longer remember. It was mostly GI Joe and maybe Rugrats plus some other Nickelodeon? Pete and Pete for sure...some Hey Dude. That kind of stuff. Oh, and I watched a lot of Looney Toons.

And I Love Lucy too. I am probably not representative of my age group.

Captain Planet? LMFAO! Laughat

She said all a body would have to do there was to go around all day long with a harp and sing. So I didn't think much of it. But I never said so. I asked her if she reckoned Tom Sawyer would go there, and she said not by a considerable sight. I was glad about that, because I wanted him and me to be together. - Huck Finn.
