High Heeled Shoes
Notice I capitalized the first letter of each word. That's how important this subject is.Wink And since I don't go to church on Sundays I'm lookin' at High Heeled Shoes today.

I came across a scientific study of High Heeled Shoes, not that I need to point to a scientific study to support this, that proves how heels advances human evolution by making women more attractive, etc.

"To avoid the rating of attractiveness being influenced by anything other than high heels, the researchers used a process known as point-light display: lit markers are placed on key parts of the body and the raters or judges see only the patterns of these lights as the woman walks.

Men and women viewed 30-second video clips of the point-light displays of the walkers in high heels and flat shoes moving towards them. They then made judgements for femininity and attractiveness. All the women were rated as more attractive when wearing heels, and women judges rated them as more attractive than did the men.

In a second experiment, people were asked to judge whether the point-light display of women walking towards them was a man or woman. When the women were wearing flat shoes they were nearly twice as likely to be viewed as a man."

So becoming a podiatrist is where the money is.

But to hell with the x ray and feminists who wear Birkenstocks. Ick, yuck,

I have 10 pairs of HHS which compared to other women is kinda low. I need to add a few more. Just sayin'.

Guys, what kind of non-hooker High Heeled Shoes are your favorites? Shoes that women can actually walk in and not die a slow death in.

He is deformed, crooked, old, and sere,
Ill-fac’d, worse bodied, shapeless every where;
Vicious, ungentle, foolish, blunt, unkind,
Stigmatical in making, worse in mind.

I think we need pics of you wearing your high heels so we can judge responsibly, and provide a solid, substantiated opinion of how they look, and how they look on you....just sayin Yes

i...um...I s'pose you would classify these as...too much? Unsure

Only guys are allowed to give their opinion? The feminist in me rebels! Angry

Also, why the 'non-hooker' exclusion?

I'm thinking about the tonnes of HHS that filled my apartment back in Singapore and I'm not sure which ones were hooker / non-hooker. Blush

RE: High Heeled Shoes
I've come to the conclusion that any shoe that will look even remotely cute or sexy on a woman's foot is bad for your feet.

I've seen at least three or four segments on what foot specialists recommend for the best foot health. Ugliest damn shoes every time.

I'm not even one of those women who is crazy about shoes. Seriously I own one pair of tennis shoes, two pairs of flip flops, and one pair of heels for work.

I hope that the world turns, and things get better. But what I hope most of all is that you understand what I mean when I tell you that, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. - V for Vendetta

These seem like a good compromise, sexy but not torture devices.

RE: High Heeled Shoes
I prefer to wear 3-4" stilettos for social functions, the mall, dinner dates, etc. Will wear wedges and flip flops in the summer, depending on the sun dress. I wear clogs at work. Only time I wear tennis shoes is with my yoga pants or exercise shorts. But if I'm dressing to be seen - gotta have heels. I've been known to wear strappy heels with a fitted tee and jeans. I'm a podiatrist's wet dream - I'm gonna make one a lot of money some day.

This is my dream shoe. When I pay off all my debt, it's getting added to my collection:

RE: High Heeled Shoes
I love a nice pair of heals with ankle straps especially.

I had to give two really sexy pair away and have others I just don't have the heart to get rid of. For some reason bones in my feet like to just break, for no apparent reason. Heels make that more likely so I have had to retire the heels. Weeping

I do go for sexy, strappy sandals most of the year though.

See here they are the bruises some were self-inflicted and some showed up along the way. - JF

I like that. Classy and elegant and the red inner stripe gives it just the right touch of adventurous and audacious!

RE: High Heeled Shoes
Fuck the "fashion rules" for what men are "supposed" to wear. I wear Birkenstock-style sandals in the summer (with the back strap; I hate fighting to keep my shoes from falling off), and I love them.

If we came from dust, then why is there still dust?
