Well... it's actually kind of my fault.

I was suppose to schedule the crown three weeks after my cap... it's been like 6.

I don't have a free slot in my work schedule until next week.

Oh. Yeah, pretty much your fault. They're called 'temporary' for a reason.

Sorry....

Wait a day, it'll turn up.

Don't know if I'd wash it and try to stick it back in...

Maybe just stick it in a baggie and find the words to explain.

The good news is that your real crown is at the dentist's waiting for you.

Call them, tell them what happened, and get your ass over there.

RE: Hmmm. Well... yep... I sure did.
Three years ago I dated this guy that worked at a skating rink, and one day while we were skating he caused me to fall and I chipped my front left tooth.

I got a temporary cap on, and I was supposed to get a permanent crown, but never did.

I still have the temporary cap... I'm just waiting for the day it falls off.

Because I was still having issues with a tooth that had a root canal and crown, the dentist put the crown on with temporary glue. When I went back to have it sealed with the permanent stuff, he couldn't get the crown off. Will wait till it gets loose, I suppose.

Temporary seems to mean different things when it comes to dental work. I have had them come of when supposedly permanently cemented in and some that stay put with temporary.

Seating a crown should only take a few minutes since they don't have to pry off the temporary one, hopefully they can fit you into their schedule.
